Visiting Scholars at the IAAEU

The IAAEU (Institute for Labour Law and Industrial Relations in the European Union) at Trier University offers graduate students nearing the completion of their PhD and postdocs the opportunity to research for one to two months in residence at the IAAEU. Residing Scholars are invited to pursue their own research initiatives and develop new ideas.

With two professorships and 15 mostly legal and economic scientists, is the leading interdisciplinary organ in Germany for performing interdisciplinary research on (labour) law and (personnel) economic questions in one house. We are looking for young researchers that are interested in investigating questions concerning labour markets, personnel economics or the economic analysis of (labour) law during their stay in Trier. We offer a creative and dynamic field of research, an excellent infrastructure and the perfect environment to make decisive progress on a research project. We want to you to present your research plan and paper in our colloquium, where you will engage with our scientists to develop and bring new ideas together.
